Rockport Police beat: Domestic violence assaults, illegal possession of liquor by minor
ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Dec. 30-Jan.3. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Officer Cooper Plaisted, who joined the Rockport Police Department in 2013, completed his last patrol shift Jan.2 to begin a new position at the Maine State Police.
Dec. 30
David Campbell, 74, of Friendship, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for failure to register motor vehicle 30-150 days.
Robert Phillips, 46, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Smith for insurance violation.
Hannah Woodman, 23, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to maintain control of motor vehicle.
Richard Petronsky, 29, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection and insurance violations.
Dec. 31
William Achorn, 28, of Liberty, was issued a summons by Officer Craig Cooley for inspection and insurance violations.
Paul Lewis, 60, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for speeding 55 mph in a 40 mph zone.
Daniel Breen, 34, of Tenants Harbor, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.

Jason Corbett, 20, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Shaw for illegal possession of liquor by a minor, domestic violence assault, and disorderly conduct.
Brian Smith, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Shaw for domestic violence assault.
Jan. 3
Michelle Radloff, 47, of Owls Head, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for inspection violation.
Michael Duffy, 32, of Camden, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.
