Rockport Police beat: Arrest warrants, theft, probation violation
ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Dec. 14-22. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Dec. 14
Ross McMahan, 30, of Warren, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for theft of mislaid property.
Dec. 16
Linda Brown, 59, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.
Dec. 17
David L. Fish, 22, of Appleton, was arrested by Officer Craig Cooley for two warrants.
Dec. 19
Elaine Isakson, 58, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Smith for speeding 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Kevin Matthews, 41, of Jefferson, was arrested by Sgt. Travis Ford for three warrants and issued a summons for inspection and insurance violations.
Dec. 20
Colby Leavitt, 19, of Bowdoin, was issued a summons by Officer Jim Moore for speeding 61 mph in a 45 mph zone.
Dec. 22
Peter Miller, 22, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Moore for probation violation.
