State Police make York heroin, cocaine bust
State Police say a man and woman from Portland were charged early this morning on cocaine and heroin charges after their speeding car was stopped on the Maine Turnpike in York. Troopers said the car was returning from New York and the driver also had in the vehicle his wife and two young children.
Troopers charged 29-year-old Christopher Rickett of Portland with possessing cocaine. Rickett was the driver. The only passenger not related to him was 23-year-old Sierrha Frisbie, of Portland, who was in possession of 50 grams of cocaine and heroin. She was arrested and charged with unlawful trafficking. Rickett was summonsed on the cocaine charge, but was not arrested.
The car was stopped by Troopers Justin Huntley and Kristy Libritz about 3 a.m. after it sped through the York tollbooth. A State Police drug dog was then brought to the scene and indicated that drugs were in the car.
Frisbie was taken to the York County Jail. After the arrest and seizure of the drugs, Rickett and his family were allowed to drive home.
