Two arrested following Crystal Lake Road complaint
WASHINGTON — Knox County Sheriff's deputies arrested two inviduals Wednesday night after responding to a complaint on Crystal Lake Road and discovering many people outside the residence.
Chief Deputy Tim Carroll said that when officers responded to the residence, a handful of people ran into the woods. One of them, Felicia Glidden, 19, of Washington, was immediately apprehended and taken into custody for violating bail conditions.
Carroll said in a press release that due to ongoing problems in the area, deputies requested assistance from other law enforcement agencies. A Maine State Police trooper responded, along with officers from Camden, Rockport and Waldoboro. Lincoln County Sheriff's deputies also responded, including one with a K-9 to assist in locating the other people who ran into the woods.
Also arrested following a brief search was Frank Maddocks, 41, of Appleton. Maddocks was located by the K-9 team and arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.
Two additional people were not located that night, and pending further investigation, Carroll said more charges may be brought against others involved.
