Audrey Woolley, obituary
FRIENDSHIP — Audrey Woolley, 79, of Friendship, formerly of Brick, N.J., passed away peacefully May 2, 2014, at her home with family by her side. She was born March 17, 1935, in Long Branch, N.J., to H. Herbert and Florence Allen.
She grew up in Manasquan, N.J. and she married Richard Woolley, whom she met in Manasquan.
She worked for the Bank of New York in Wall Township for 15 years until she retired to Maine with her husband in 1996. She was a member of the Friendship United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Richard "Rit" Woolley.
She is survived by her two daughters and five grandchildren, Karen Venerable and her husband, Robert, and their children, Shawn, Kyle, and Dana, all of Brick, N.J., and Melody Mazzoni and her husband, Dean, and their children, Dean Jr. and Amanda, all of Toms River, N.J.; and her brother, Jack Allen and his wife, Bonnie, of Boothbay.
A service to celebrate Audrey's life will be held Tuesday, May 6 at 6 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church in Friendship. The Rev. Robert Dorr will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Audrey's memory may be made to the Friendship United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 187, Friendship, ME 04547.
Arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Waldoboro.
