ROCKLAND — Helen W. Shields Grant, 76, formerly of North Haven, died Feb. 23, 2014, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, after a brief illness. A full obituary will be published.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, Feb. 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St. in Rockland. Private interment will be in the spring.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Rockland Public Library, P.O. Box 764, Rockland, ME 04841.
