Applications available for Open Air Market at Rockland library
Applications are currently being accepted for the Open Air Market, a community tag sale, vintage and makers market, organized by the Friends of the Rockland Public Library (FRPL).
The Open Air Market will be held on the library lawn on Saturday, July 26, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., with an early-bird shopping hour starting at 10 a.m. for FRPL members. There will also be a bag book sale in the community room on the lower level of the library at the same time.
Christa Zuber, the producer of the Rockland Makers Market and FRPL Board Member, is organizing the Open Air Market for the Friends.
“I’m very excited for the mix of vendors at the Open Air Market,” said Zuber, in a news release. “Combining a tag sale with vintage resellers and handmade makers means there will be something for everyone – plus, it will help me to clean out my closets at home!”
Members of the community are invited to apply for a booth at the market. The fee for a 10x10’ booth space is $25 for FRPL members and $35 for non-members (which includes an individual membership to the Friends of Rockland Public Library). Proceeds from booth fees benefit the Rockland Public Library. The Friends of Rockland Library provides financial assistance to the library throughout the year, everything from new computers to new books.
