Thomaston Grammar students participate in Jumangi-themed field day

Thomaston Grammar School students participated in a fun-filled Jumangi-themed field day, June 22.
“What a perfect day it was for it!” said TGS.
Students participated in a variety of events. Jungle Tag was an event where they had to do their best to stay out of the jail in the jungle. Row Row was an event where they had to race to be the first to pull themselves in a sled to the finish line. Fly Catcher was an event where students worked with a partner to get as many balls into the net as possible, using a pickle ball paddle to hit the ball into the net. Stampede Tag was an event where students had to move like various animals, and eventually everyone became a monkey.
Hungry Hippo was an event where students competed to get the bean bag in the hippo’s mouth. Base camp was an event where students enjoyed a delicious snack provided by the Friends and Family of TGS group and had their photos taken.
“What a great day it was!” said TGS.
