“Business owners, nonprofit directors and entrepreneurs should never be intimidated by the code that connects all of us to the services we need,” said a news release.

Mid-Coast School of Technology Adult Education instructor Sam Auciello has been building websites for individuals and corporate clients since 2003 and is offering Simple Websites with WiX, a basic programming class that starts Feb. 6.

Simple Websites with WiX is a 2-session workshop where students will learn to build their their own websites, using the drag-and-drop interface at WiX, a free platform where membership can be upgraded to enable custom domain names and remove WiX advertisements. No prior experience is necessary. 

Classes are on consecutive Mondays, Feb. 6 and 13, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
