Christmas By the Sea ornament proceeds benefit Knox County Homeless Coalition

Sun, 11/06/2022 - 10:00am

Members of the Christmas By the Sea committee recently presented a donation in the amount of $930 to the Knox County Homeless Coalition. The donation was made possible through the sale of 2021 Christmas By the Sea ornaments last December. Wooden Alchemy of Camden crafted the ornaments in celebration of the event's 35th year.

Christmas By the Sea is orchestrated by volunteers representing the Camden Area Business Group, with assistance from the Town of Camden. The group is busy planning its 36th Annual Christmas By the Sea weekend, slated for December 2-4, 2022, with festivities happening throughout the Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville area. A schedule of events will be published by mid-November.

A new ornament will be produced for this year's event, also designed by Wooden Alchemy, with proceeds to benefit the Area Interfaith Outreach Fuel Assistance Program. Ornaments will be on sale starting Christmas By the Sea weekend, at the Chamber of Commerce Information Center at 2 Public Landing, Camden, and at the Camden Public Library, 55 Main Street. More details to come.
