BLUE HILL — Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital welcomes new providers to its urology and pediatric practices. John Califano, MD and Seyward Robbins, PA-C, both recently joined Maine Coast and are accepting new patients.

Dr. Califano has over 12 years of urology experience after completing medical school and a surgical/ urology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. He has a strong interest in working in a small practice setting within a community hospital and “building a trusting relationship with [my] patients and [their] referring primary care providers,” according to a Northern Light news release.

Physician Assistant Seyward Robbins joined the Northern Light Pediatric Care team at Maine Coast in July.

“With 11 years of family medicine, adult and pediatric urgent, and general pediatric care experience, Seyward will be a fantastic addition to the practice,” said Northern Light. 

As a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School’s physician assistant program, Seyward knew early that she wanted to work in healthcare and soon realized that her “favorite patients to work with were babies, youth and young adults.”
