Searsport FBLA chapter collects 11 awards at state conference






AUBURN — Searsport FBLA competed Friday, March 18 against other chapters across the state at the Maine FBLA State Leadership Conference at Central Maine Community College in Auburn.
FBLA is an organization offering the opportunity for students to gain leadership experiences, and participate in competitive events, conferences while establishing professional connections, earning scholarships, performing community service and sharpening relevant career and personal skills.
FBLA members had the opportunity to network with other students, attend business education workshops, and learn from keynote speakers.
Searsport FBLA is grateful for the support of local businesses and their generous contributions that made our attendance possible, the organization noted in a news release.
