MIDCOAST — The Babe Ruth baseball season continued Sunday, June 6 in the Midcoast with four of the area’s five teams in action. 

This season, the Midcoast Babe Ruth Baseball League consists of five teams: Waldoboro (representing the RSU 40 area), Rockland Ford (representing the RSU 13 area), Granite Coast (representing a portion of the Five Towns area), P.G. Willey (representing a portion of the Five Towns area) and Damariscotta Lions.

Rockland Ford extended its winning streak to four games Sunday with a dominating 12-0 mercy-rule victory. 

The hosts plated five runs in the opening inning, three in each the second and third and one in the fourth. 

P.G. Willey tallied four hits and committed three errors. Meanwhile, Rockland Ford recorded eight hits and two errors. 

At the plate for Rockland Ford were Taygen McAllister (two runs, RBI), Gavin Ripley (double, run, RBI), Kavie Maloney (single, run, RBI), Jacob Watkinson (two singles, three runs, RBI), Bryson Mattox (single, run), Dominic Frisone (two runs), Joey Brown (single, RBI), Gilbert Stewart (single, run), Joshua Pratt (run) and Dylan Winslow (single, RBI). 

At the plate for P.G. Willey were Bran Leonard (double), Caleb Butler (single), Roan Aldridge (single) and Matt Mandrell (single). 

Working the mound for P.G. Willey were Walker Herrick and Leonard. No additional pitching information was available. 

Hurling for Rockland Ford was Watkinson who tossed a complete game allowing only four hits, one walk and fanning six batters.
