SANFORD — Fifteen area players have been named to represent the Midcoast Babe Ruth League in the 13-15 year-old state all-star tournament, a double elimination tournament held in Sanford. 

The tournament is being held Friday, July 15 through Sunday, July 17.

The Midcoast roster includes Jacob Watkinson, Dominic Frisone, Bryson Mattox, Dylan Winslow and Blade Brann from Rockland Ford; Porter Gahagan and Josh Blake from Waldoboro; A.J. Giberson and Spencer McDaniel from the Damariscotta Lions; Hayden Brimer and Garak Brimer from Tidewater Oil; Owen Hotchkin, Eric LeBlond and Owen McManus from Granite Coast Orthodontics; and Caleb Butler from P.G. Willey.

Tom Hedstrom from Granite Coast Orthodontics will be the team's manager and Bart Hotchkin from Granite Coast Orthodontics will serve as an assistant coach.
