How Vinalhaven will celebrate its graduates

VINALHAVEN — The administration at the Vinalhaven School has outlined its plans for honoring the graduating Class of 2020.
With a small graduating class, an in-person ceremony will be conducted with immediate family members and limited staff members in attendance.
The ceremony will adhere to social distancing guidelines and will be limited to under 50 people in the school auditorium.
Graduation will be followed by a car parade with a long route designed to ensure the whole community can support the graduates without congregating over the allowed social distancing limits.
A video of the event will also be made available for viewing of the entire Vinalhaven community.
