Romaine Spaulding, 64, of Searsmont, passed away August 19, 2018 in Belfast.  She was born in Belfast on December 6, 1953 to George and Viola (Patterson) Ellsworth. 

 

Romaine was raised in Swanville and lived in Waldo County all her life.  She enjoyed working in her gardens and was a very easy-going and friendly person.  She loved spending time with her family especially the grand kids. Romaine also enjoyed working at Yankee Clipper and at The Belfast Harbor Inn.

 

She was predeceased by both parents and a brother, Michael Ellsworth. Survivors include her children, Winfred Spaulding and wife Danielle of Clinton, Brian Spaulding and his partner Misty Day, Edgar Spaulding and wife Beth, all of Belfast; two brothers, Edgar Ellsworth of Brooks and Joseph Ellsworth of Milford; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her partner Robert Bragdon of Searsmont.  She will be missed by her dog, Buddy.
