Windjammers excel in home alpine ski meet

CAMDEN — The Camden Hills boys and girls alpine ski teams hosted a slalom race Wednesday, Jan. 31 at the Camden Snow Bowl. 

The Camden Hills boys team finished the day with 362 points and in second place behind Mount Blue (375 points). Maranacook finished in third place (348), Hampden Academy finished fourth (342), John Bapst finished fifth (339), Skowhegan finished sixth (319), Leavitt finished seventh (258) and Bangor finished eighth (79). 

The Camden Hills girls team finished in fourth place, out of four competing teams, with 346 points. Maranacook finished first (374 points), Mount Blue finished second (365) and Hampden Academy finished third (356).
