Waldoboro Police beat: Arrest warrants, theft, failure to stop for a police officer
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 229 calls for service from Dec. 15-22. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Dec. 15
Daniel Collins, 69, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Spear for operating after suspension/revocation.
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a theft of wood complaint from a resident.
Dec. 17
Todd Dodge, 41, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Larry Hesseltine on a warrant.
Dec. 19
Fuller is investigating a report from a resident of harassment by text message.
Fuller and Sgt. Jamie Wilson are investigating a report from a resident of the theft of money.
Wilson investigated a report from the Big Apple of a $12.60 gasoline drive off. The subject was found and returned to make payment.
Dec. 20
Kelly Hall, 30, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Fuller on two warrants.
Dec. 21
Phillip Cunningham, 46, of Friendship, was issued a summons by Fuller for failure to stop for a police officer.
Dec. 22
Jeffery Luce, 36, of Whitefield, was arrested by Fuller for theft by deception, violation of bail (three counts), refusing to submit to arrest, and failure to sign summons.
