BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Aug. 31 - Sept. 3. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

Aug. 31

Tristan Dutkowski, 19, of Great Meadows, N.J., was issued summonses for speeding 37 mph in a 25 mph zone, possession of a usable amount of marijuana and transportation of alcohol by a minor on Quaker Hill Road in Unity. 

Colin A. Snay, 18, of Shrewsbury, Mass., was issued a summons for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone on Quaker Hill Road in Unity.

Ferrante K. Grantham, 54, of China, was issued a summons for improper passing on Main Street in Unity. 

Justin D. Nelson, 18, of Oakfield, was issued a summons for speeding 37 mph in a 5 mph zone on Quaker Hill Road in Unity. 

Sept. 1

Breezy S. Condon, 21, of Burnham, was issued a summons for furnishing liquor to a minor on Troy Road in Burnham. 

Sept. 2

Robin R. Dreyer, 59, of Burnsville, N.C., was issued a summons stopping/suddenly reducing speed without a signal on Route 1 in Stockton Springs. 

Deputy Darrin Moody responded to the scene of a two vehicle accident on Route 1 in Stockton Springs. The operator of a 2013 Toyota was traveling westbound through an intersection where they had the right-of-way. The driver reportedly told Moody he was confused by the intersection, and he consequently slammed on his brakes. This resulted in the vehicle behind the Toyota, a 2002 Harley Davidson, rear-ending it. The Toyota received functional damage, while the motorcycle received minor damage. There were no injuries, and the rider was picked up from the scene by friends. The driver of the Toyota was issued a summons stopping/suddenly reducing speed without a signal.
