Voting to reelect Vicki Doudera Nov. 8

Mon, 10/31/2022 - 1:45pm
For the recent six years I served on the Camden Select Board I had many opportunities to work with Vicki Doudera.

Before she was elected to the District 94 seat in the Maine Legislature Vicki and I worked together on a number of town committees. She was volunteering her time working for the citizens of Camden years before she ran for political office.

There's no fame or fortune awarded to the citizens who volunteer for town committees - they do it simply to help make their town a better place for all the people who live in town or come to visit.

Often it's a thankless job.

But I'm very thankful that Vicki worked as hard as she did on the committees and has continued that dedication in the Maine Legislature.

I've rarely seen someone so thoughtful, hardworking, organized, and accomplished in public service...or for that matter in any occupation.

Since joining the Legislature ,Vicki has worked on rising costs, education, housing, natural resources, and  expanding health care access - and that's just an abbreviated list of her work.

I'll very gratefully be voting for Vicki's re-election on Tuesday November 8.
