UNION — Due to an ongoing water issue, the Union Elementary School building will be closed for a third consecutive day Friday, Nov. 15. 

Instead of cancelling classes for a third time, however, a creative solution has been reached, according to a Facebook post from the school. 

Students attending Union Elementary School will attend classes at Medomak Middle School located at 318 Manktown Road in Waldoboro. 

Buses will pick up students at their normal time and bring them to the Waldoboro school. Parents who normally transport their children will need to bring them to the Waldoboro campus. 

Dismissal will be at 3:15 p.m. 

Bagged lunches will be provided to those who need them.
