Belfast – It is the perfect time to plan ahead for all your 2019 events and conferences!  The UMaine Hutchinson Center is the ideal venue for conferences, corporate retreats, business and industry trainings, professional workshops, job fairs and gala fundraising events.  Our newly upgraded 104-seat auditorium and 2800-square-foot conference center offer leading edge technology and adaptable spaces for all your conference needs. Among the variety of additional event spaces offered at the center are a brightly lit atrium, a large outdoor patio, an executive board room, computer labs and several classrooms.

Hutchinson Center can accommodate most technology requests with the assistance of our knowledgeable IT specialist. We can also facilitate video and web conferencing via Zoom and Google solutions.

Ideally located in mid-coast Maine, the Hutchinson Center is easily accessible from all points in Maine via Routes 1 and 3.  Bangor and Augusta are each a 45-minute drive and Portland is 90 minutes. The center is handicap accessible with free parking and a comfortable air-conditioned environment.  

Beautiful Penobscot Bay is just beyond the art-filled city of Belfast with a variety of shopping, dining and lodging options.  South of Belfast is Camden, where the mountains meet the sea; to the north is Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor.
