BELFAST — “Travels With Neal,” an exhibit of photographs by Penny Linn, will be on display in the Kramer Gallery of the Belfast Free Library for the month of July.

After a 40 year hiatus from photography, Penny Linn embarked on a journey to rekindle her passion for the art which entailed exiting the film world and entering the digital age of image making. In addition to attending courses at the Maine Media Workshops, Linn participated in several travel photography tours with Neal Parent, a close friend and a photographer from Belfast.

The collection of photographs in this exhibit are the result of Linn’s journeys overseas with Neal Parent’s photography tours.

Linn is a photographer living in Belfast.

“This show is in part a tribute to Neal’s mentoring and encouragement which has helped me grow as a photographer,” said Linn, in a news release.

Located on the ground floor of the library, the gallery is open during library hours. Please visit belfastlibrary.org for more information.
