UNION — Sheila L. Gibbs–Fish, 67, died Oct. 21, 2013, at her son's home in Warren, following a brief illness.

Born in Rockland May 23, 1946, she was the daughter of Louis A. Sr. and Bertha Newbert Parreault. Growing up in Warren, she was educated in local schools.

Later in life, after raising her family, Shelia returned to school, and in 1989 was pleased to earn a GED from Camden–Rockport High School, at the same time as her daughter.

An avid collector, Shelia's favorite pastime was bowling. She bowled on area league teams, beginning at the former Lucky Strike Lanes in Camden and more recently at Oakland Park Lanes in Rockport.

More than anything, she was devoted to her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sheila was predeceased by her husband, Wilson A. "Bill" Fish in 2012; a daughter, Angela Jane Gibbs in 2011; and a brother, Joseph A. Parreault in 1994. She is survived by one son, Rodney A. Gibbs and his wife, Stephanie, of Warren; two brothers, Alfred "Buddy" Parreault of Warren and William Parreault of Minnesota; five grandchildren, Ryan Gibbs of Warren, Tyler Gibbs of Portland, Whitney Carpentier and Christopher Carpentier, both of Lincolnville, and Dalton Claus of Zion, Ill.; four great-grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Oscar and Nathan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Bob Gagnon Cancer Care Fund, C/O Pen Bay Healthcare, 22 White St., Rockland, ME 04841.

Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home in Rockland.
