BELFAST — Sandra Joyce Higgins Littlefield, 62, of Belfast, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a twenty five year battle with Multiple Sclerosis on November 11, 2019 at the Sussman House in Rockport, Maine.
 
Born July 17, 1957 she grew up in Belmont and is a graduate of Belfast Area High School and Word of Life Bible Institute. She was a past member of the Morrill Baptist Church and later the Woodland Baptist Church until Multiple Sclerosis left her unable to participate.
 
After living thirty four years in the Calais area she and her husband recently returned to live in Belfast.
 
Sandra was a talented seamstress and quilter. She also loved creating crafts and floral arrangements that she often sold at local venues.
 
Sandra was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, and Aunt who cherished her family and many special friends.
 
Predeceased by her father, Milton Higgins Sr., and sister, Sally Higgins.
 
Surviving are her beloved husband, Michael, of Belfast; her son, James of Dahlonega GA; grandson, Jayden of Dawsonville GA; mother, Patricia Higgins of Belmont ME; her siblings, Susan Finley and husband Dale of Northport, ME, Sharon Torrey and husband Carmen of Dawsonville, GA, Shirley Diepenbrock and husband Dave of Deltona, FL, and Milton Higgins Jr and wife Wendy of Swanville, ME; and many loving nieces and nephews.
 
Memorial visiting hours will be at Riposta Funeral Home on November 15, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held November 16, at 11 a.m., at the Morrill Baptist Church.
