RSU40 nurse thanks community for helping to fund vision screener purchase

The Waldoboro Lions Club and RSU 40 nurses met our goal and bought our SPOT Vision Screener!
Special thanks also to the Waldoboro Lions Club who donated $2,000 and bought SPOT.
Next, we will train our Vision Team and then start screening.
Many thanks to all those who also donated: Boothbay Lions Club, Damariscotta/Nobleboro Lions Club, Whitefield Lions Club, Community Members (especially The Sasur Family), Red Sky Studio of Warren (supported via wreath sales), Moody’s Diner and Dan Beck (held a fundraiser in November for the Vision Screener), and Dr. and Mrs. Kevin Davey (RSU40 Physician, Waldoboro Family Medicine).
Michele Cooney is a RSU40 nurse serving Union Elementary School and Prescott Memorial School.
