The following two pieces of information were shared by RSU 20 Superintendent Chris Downing: 

Dear Families and Caregivers, 

Teachers in RSU 20 have developed plans to support continued education at home for the duration of school closure. A variety of educational materials will be available for students. This is a plan to distribute materials to our students. Additional information may be shared with students that have school email accounts. 

Tuesday, March 17th, Wednesday, March 18th, and Thursday, March 19th at SDMHS and SES we will have pick-up times for materials in the follow order: 

9am - 11am Last Names A - M
12pm - 2pm Last Names N-Z

**Materials that cannot be picked up will be worked into a plan for distribution through district transportation. Please contact your child’s school for those arrangements. 

We will communication any changes as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support of our students and our schools.

RSU #20 is pleased to announce we will continue our food service for school age children living in Searsport and Stockton Springs. Starting Thursday, March 19th, continuing through this school closure, we will provide free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years old or younger in our towns regardless of household income or attendance at RSU #20 schools. 

Breakfast will be cold cereal, milk, and fruit or fruit juice. Lunch will be a sandwich, fruit, vegetable, and milk. All sandwiches will be on whole grain bread and will be served based on the published menu. 

Beginning Wednesday, March 18th, parents who would like to participate may contact RSU #20 Food Service at 207.548.2453 or food@rsu20.org. Orders must be placed at least one day prior to expected delivery, but a request can be made for the entire week. Please provide the following information should you choose to call or email. (**missing information will delay delivery**) 

• Address where the food will be delivered
• Number of children at the address
• Ages and names of the children
• Telephone number for delivery notification 

Delivery will be Monday through Friday between 10 A.M. and 2 P.M. 

Deliveries will not occur on recognized holidays. 

Deliveries will not occur during planned school vacation times.
