Rockland Police seek information in multiple vehicle thefts

    ROCKLAND — Rockland Police are investigating the thefts of several catalytic converters that were stolen during the past two weeks from vehicles parked in the Industrial Park in Rockland.

    Police are asking citizens to please take notice of any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area, particularly during the overnight hours, according to a press release the Rockland Police Department posted on its Facebook page September 16.

    Anyone with any information regarding the thefts is asked to contact Officer John Bagley at Jbagley@rocklandmaine.gov.

    Additionally, Rockland Police have received an increasing number of reported thefts from unlocked motor vehicles, particularly in the North End of the city. Citizens are reminded to lock their vehicles when unattended and are encouraged to contact police if they observe anyone milling around or looking into parked vehicles.
