Rockland police charge man after car-ramming incident

A Rockland man is facing several charges following an incident yesterday evening.
Jonathan Whiffen, 55, was charged with operating under the influence, reckless conduct and aggravated criminal mischief.
Police were called to a Cedar Street residence September 5, at around 5:52 p.m., following an argument between Whiffen and a woman. Whiffen allegedly used his truck to repeatedly ram the woman's car, which was parked in the driveway, causing significant damage.
Officer William Smith and Sergeant Anthony Camporiale investigated the incident.
