Riverhawks, Schooners split Busline basketball action

The Camden-Rockport and Medomak seventh and eighth grade basketball teams met on the hardwood Monday, Dec. 12 for Busline League action. 

7th boys: Camden-Rockport 58, Medomak 48 

The two squads were tied 10-10 after the opening quarter before Camden-Rockport held quarterly advantages of 22-21 and 42-33 after the second and third quarters, respectively. 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Soren Johnson (27), Landon Reynolds (11), Cole Hedrich (nine), Emmett Milliken (five), James Helmstetter (two), Isaac Palmer (two) and Benjamin Wyman (two). 

Scoring for Medomak were Silas Ripley (18), Jacoby McDaniel (10), Judd Gamage (eight), Jaydiin Ruiz (four), Noah Lash (three), Liam Doughty (three) and Carter Jackson (two). 

7th girls: Medomak 39, Camden-Rockport 23

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 4-3, 14-13 and 32-15. 

Scoring for Medomak were Olivia Campbell (10), Kendall Wyman (six), Maya Catapano-Kangas (six), Kyli Jones (five), Ari Pierpont (four), Danielle Collins (four) and Brianna Neal (four). 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Izzy Baker (eight), Grace Fenton (seven), Saylor Pinkham (six) and Lana Young (two). 

8th girls: Camden-Rockport 47, Medomak 18

Camden-Rockport maintained quarterly advantages of 6-2, 16-7 and 31-10. 

Scoring for Medomak were Paige Gerlack (nine), Rachel Barbour (one), Molly Emerson (two), Grace Havener (one), Lilly Hills (one) and Ari Kennard (four). 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Brooklyn Rollins (six), Rita Heslan (one), Olivia Smith (two), Gabby Martin (16), Ali Sylvecker (six), Hannah Stowe (10) and Carly Fitzpatrick (six). 

8th boys: Medomak 51, Camden-Rockport 42

Camden-Rockport held a 22-14 lead at halftime. 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Dan Focillo (two), Dom Domarecki (five), Phineas Baroody (five), Braden Beveridge (18), Cody McGlothlin (four), Ryder Lombardo (one), Carter Duke (three), Zachary Mason (two) and Christian McCafferty (two). 

Scoring details were not kept for Medomak.
