Riverhawks, Mariners collect Busline midweek victories

Busline League middle school basketball action continued Wednesday, Jan. 11 across the Midcoast.

8th boys: Medomak 40, Troy Howard 23

Both teams had scored seven points by the end of the opening quarter before Medomak held leads of 18-10 and 31-16 following the second and third quarters, respectively. 

Scoring for Medomak were Landon Starr (13), Noah Taggert (seven), Kollin Donlin (six), Clark Elwell (five), Brayden Nadeau (five) and Landon Morrison (four). 

Scoring for Troy Howard were Hayden Brimer (10), Garak Brimer (four), Cole Gerrish (three), Brody Balicki (three), Sebastian Sprague (two) and Justin Massey (one). 

8th girls: Medomak 34, Troy Howard 31

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 10-6, 19-13 and 26-18. 

Scoring for Medomak were Paige Gerlack (four), Sidney Nicholls (six), Rachel Barbour (two), Grace Havener (11), Molly Emerson (four), Lilly Hills (seven). 

Scoring for Troy Howard were Paisley Hayslip (two), Jaedyn Brady (13), Teagan Harvey (four), Emma Tripp (10) and Kloe Luce (two). 

7th boys: Medomak 44, Troy Howard 16

Medomak maintained quarterly leads of 16-4, 26-7 and 36-11. 

Scoring for Medomak were Jacoby McDaniel (10), Noah Lash (two), Liam Doughty (two), Silas Ripley (six), Judd Gamage (four), Carter Jackson (two), Logan Brow (five), Grady Berry (three), Landon Benner (four) and Jaydiin Ruiz (six). 

Scoring for Troy Howard were Kale Fowler (six), Kellen Harvey (four), Gabe Warren (one) and Carter Barrett (five).

8th boys: Oceanside 70, Great Salt Bay 34

Scoring for Oceanside were Trevin Ripley (28), Sebastian Olson (14), Alonzo Hoose (10), Levi Murphy (10), Maddox Lowell (four), Nicholas Tripp (two) and RoRo Roberts (two). 

Scorers for Great Salt Bay were Griffin Beavis (13), James Hanley (10), George Siegel (eight) and Walker Simmons (three). 

7th girls: Medomak 26, Troy Howard 24

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 6-2, 16-6 and 20-18.

Scoring for Medomak were Kyli Jones (six), Aubrey Court (six), Anna Reed (five), Sienna Lee (four), Kendall Wyman (two), Maggie Martin (two) and Ari Pierpont (one). 

Scoring for Troy Howard were Kamyn Wadsworth (nine), Avery Adams (two), Jordin Wight (five), Camilla Coleman (six) and Kaelyn Jackson (two).
