Riverhawk boys dominate GSB in Thursday showdowns

The Busline League basketball season continued Thursday, Jan. 12 for the Medomak seventh and eighth grade boys basketball teams as they faced Great Salt Bay. 

8th boys: Medomak 73, Great Salt Bay 46

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 22-2, 45-14 and 61-32. 

Scoring for Medomak were Noah Taggert (23), Clark Elwell (10), Kollin Donlin (10), Landon Starr (nine), Landon Morrison (six), Zachary Curtis (four), Liam Feeley (two), Brayden Nadeau (two), Grady Curtis (two), Wyatt Hood (two), Andrew Flanders (two) and Michael Riley (one). 

Scoring for Great Salt Bay were James Healey (21), Griffin Beavis (11), Forest Storer (10) and Walker Simmons (four). 

7th boys: Medomak 69, Great Salt Bay 21

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 19-2, 42-15 and 55-19. 

Scoring for Great Salt Bay were Owen Perez (four), Owen Melanson (two), Bordy Day (nine) and Parker Starbird (six). 

Scoring for Medomak were Jacoby McDnaiel (six), Colby Simmons (six), Liam Doughty (11), Silas Ripley (six), Owen Anderson (three), Riley Johnson (five), Judd Gamage (seven), Grady Emerson (two), Miles Luellen (seven), Carter Jackson (two), Logan Brown (eight) and Jaydiin Ruiz (six).
