ROCKLAND — Rebecca French has been promoted to Branch Relationship Manager for Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s location in Rockland. In this role, she leads a team of banking professionals to provide solutions and guidance to help individuals, families, and businesses in the community meet their financial goals.

French has more than 16 years of banking experience. Most recently, she served as a Financial Service Specialist for Machias Savings Bank. She joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in 2018 as a Customer Service Representative.

French is a passionate volunteer for school sports teams and activities in her community, according to Bank & Trust. She started volunteering when her kids were young and in school and continues to volunteer for local school sports even though her children are no longer in school.

She and her husband, Michael, live in Warren. They have three children and three grandchildren. They also are co-owners of a welding and mechanic shop.
