ST. GEORGE — Randy A. Harjula, 53, died June 23, 2013, after a brief illness.

Born in Rockland Dec. 4, 1959, he was the son of David E. and Roxanna Tabbutt Harjula. He attended Cushing and St. George schools and Georges Valley High School.

Randy worked as a commercial shellfish harvester.

He was an avid sport fisherman, both on salt and fresh water.

Pre-deceased by his mother, Roxanna Haag; and two brothers, Scott Harjula and Dale Haag; Randy is survived by his father and step-mother, David and Valerie Harjula of St. George; four brothers, Daryn Harjula of Cushing, Jamie Haag of Oregon, Rick Haag of California and Michael Harjula of Gorham; and one sister, Kimberlee Harjula Peterson of St. George.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
