ROCKPORT — Paul Barbour Putnam, 81, of Rockport, passed away June 6, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. The husband of Helen Stevenson Putnam, Paul is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a local historian and author, and a minister. A complete obituary will be published later.

There will be a memorial service followed by a reception Saturday, June 29, at 1p.m. at First Congregational Church, 55 Elm St. in Camden with the Rev. Kevin Pleas officiating.
