Occupants flee Eastern Road car crash, found by deputies
WARREN — Three dogs were in the fenced-in yard of Jillian's Pet Grooming and Boarding when a sudden commotion coming from the east sent all three running for cover. Their flight to the opposite side of the yard was caught on security camera. Also caught on camera was the source of that commotion: a rapidly approaching westbound vehicle that had crossed both lanes just prior to 716 Eastern Road, wheeled across two front yards, struck a boulder and became airborn before landing on its roof against the JPG fence. The two occupants fled the scene.
Their flight from the property was also caught on tape.
Warren EMS responded to the Dec. 4, 2025, approximate 11:05 a.m., alert of this crash, but with no patient to evaluate, EMS returned to quarters. Approximately 80 minutes later, they'd be called to a different area of Eastern Road for the male, the final accumulation of bits of information that Knox County deputies, detectives, Rockland K9 team, and Knox Regional Communications Center pieced together through their hour of searching.
That male occupant was transported to Pen Bay Medical Center for any treatments and evaluations necessary prior to further law enforcement involvement.
Oyster River Towing hauled the car away.
Aside from any injuries suffered by the car's occupants, no injuries to any animals or humans were reported.
