NORTH HAVEN — A 13-year-old North Haven boy has been charged with terrorizing after a social media threat was made towards the North Haven Community School.

On May 17, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., the Knox County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the threat. As a result of their investigation, the Sheriff’s Office, in consultation with Knox County District Attorney’s Office and Maine Juvenile Community Corrections Officer, charged the male with Terrorizing.

The boy was released to his parents.
