Jason White will lead an outdoor presentation on New Plant Introductions, Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 12 p.m., at Merryspring Nature Center.

White will be discussing a variety of new plants that the Plants Unlimited nursery has to offer. He will go over what kind of growing conditions they prefer, the characteristics, how to prune and manage each.  

White has worked at Plants Unlimited for the past eight years as a landscape designer, the last four years as general manager. He has worked in the landscaping industry since his teenage years, and in 2021, White was recognized as the Young Nursery Person of the Year by Maine Landscape & Nursery Association. 

This in-person talk is part of the Summer Talk Series co-sponsored by Reny’s – A Maine Adventure and Camden Riverhouse Hotel.

Attendance is free for members; $10 for non-members.
