Megunticook River Citizens Advisory Committee speaker series continues Tuesday, March 21, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., via Zoom. The presentation will provide an overview of past technical studies on the Megunticook River and will be presented by Mike Burke, PE, P. Eng., of Inter-Fluve.

Mike Burke is a principal water resources engineer with Inter-Fluve, focused on aquatic ecosystems and their restoration, often at the interface of the built and natural environments.

For 27 years, Burke has engaged in research, assessment, planning, design, and implementation efforts across North America, in particular across northern New England and Atlantic Canada. Restoration of watershed habitat connectivity and aquatic species passage has been a specific emphasis over the last 20 years.

He established and leads Inter-Fluve’s office in Damariscotta, and lives along the banks of the Sheepscot River with his family.
