The Rockland Public Library presents the Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra, Thursday, Aug. 7, at 6 p.m., on the lawn of the Rockland Public Library. This event is free and open to all; the rain date will be Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m.

MoJO (Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra) is an 18-piece Midcoast Maine-based big band with the mission of being a premier community jazz orchestra for the area. They play modern to traditional jazz, including Latin, swing, blues, and funk, and encourage audiences to sing, clap, and dance along to their tunes.

"All ages are invited to bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs from home and join us on the lawn outside the library for what’s sure to be a fun evening," said the library, in a news release. 

The Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union Street, Rockland, Maine.
