The Friends of Rockland Public Library are hosting an Open Air Market on the Rockland Library lawn, plus a used Book Sale in the Library’s Community Room, on Saturday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friends members may shop at 10 a.m. (Not a member? You may join at the event). 

A combined community tag sale, vintage and makers’ market, the Open Air Market offers an opportunity to shop for all sorts of items from 25 vendors, including original and vintage artwork, Maine maple and alpaca products, pottery, glass, handmade soap, clothing, toys, art supplies, LPs, kitchen items and more.

A Friends bake sale will also be there.

On the lower level of the Library hundreds of gently used books, ranging from the latest best sellers to children’s books and romance, will be available for $10 a bag.
