Saturday, April 11, 2026 - 07:00 pmMinor Gold, "the harmony-drenched cosmic-folk duo from Australia," according to a Underground Lounge news release, brings their new album, Way to the Sun, to the Underground Lounge on Saturday, April 11, at 7 p.m., at 17 Court Street, in Belfast. Fresh off a whirlwind UK/EU album tour, Minor Gold are thrilled to return to North America, according to the news release.
"The record was captured in California with producer Dan Horne (Mapache, Cass McCombs), shaping a sophomore release whose fresh, radiant sound has been turning heads globally," said the release.
Way to the Sun spent nine weeks on the US Americana Radio Chart and appeared in UNCUT’s Top Tracks of the Month.
"Critics noting echoes of Simon & Garfunkel’s intertwined melodies, the close-mic guitar intimacy of Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, and the open-road, wide-horizon spirit of the Grateful Dead - all filtered through a modern, sun-lit sound that feels effortless and alive," said the release.
