Midcoast Community Chorus has announced the suspension of all upcoming rehearsals and performances for this semester due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

“The Board of Trustees, artistic director, staff and volunteers at MCC are putting the health and welfare of our members, audience and larger community in the forefront of this decisions,” said MCC Board President Mim Bird, in a news release.

“Like almost every organization taking these kinds of precautions, we cannot say today when we can resume our mission of singing for the community,” said Bird. “We are communicating with local experts, staying in touch with our members, and keeping up communication with our colleagues in other performing arts groups so that we can be ready to resume rehearsals when these precautions are no longer necessary.”
