Mid-Coast School of Technology names October Students of the Month

    The following students are being recognized by Mid-Coast School of Technology for their diligence, accuracy, engagement with studies and insightful questions.

    Carter Fogarty – Grade 12 – Oceanside High School

    Carter is focused on whatever task is put in front of him and is definitely a keen learner. He is always very diligent with doing all of the book work that needs to be done in the classroom before and after actually cooking within any given unit that we are focusing on. Within the kitchen he also excels with his ability to quickly learn the necessary methods and techniques.  Chef Butler, Culinary Arts

    Kacy Daggett – Grade 11 – Oceanside High School

    Kacy is a self-motivated student who gives 100% effort every class. Kacy pays attention to details, researches the answer to questions without being directed, and leads her team quietly. Her work is neat, accurate, complete and on time. ~ Mr. Arford, Pre-Engineering

    Ethan Barnard – Grade 11 – Medomak Valley High School

    Ethan is very engaged is his course of study. He is a great source of support to his peers and to me as the instructor. He has maintained an excellent grade for the year thus far. I strongly recommend Ethan for Student of the month. ~ Mr. Vannah, Auto Tech Instructor

    Levi Ward - Grade 10 – Medomak Valley High School

    Levi is the model of what we want to produce at Mid-Coast. He is always polite and pays full attention to instruction. He is helpful to his peers and is a mentor for the others with his note taking. When working in the shop Levi is the perfect balance of independence and insightful questioning. These attributes have led to a fast gain of skills in the small engine shop for this young man. ~ Mr. Hupp, Small Engines
