Medomak Valley Girls Soccer Team falls to Lincoln Academy, 3 to 1
The nor'easter and rain held off and Sept. 26 proved to be a beautiful warm fall day for the soccer match between Medomak Valley High School Girls Soccer Team and their counterparts from Lincoln Academy.
The game was nil nil when a Lincoln Academy player went down with a bad injury, shaking everyone, reported Coach Andrea Williamson.
The game was stopped and when it restarted, LA players shifted their momentum and quickly scored their first goal of the season, said Williamson.

The remaining part of the first half had no more scoring action.
Returning from halftime, LA found some more energy and power and scored with less than a minute gone in the second half.

About 20 minutes later LA scored again off a corner kick from Rowan Coffin. The ball hit around off people and went in. This gave LA a 3 to 0 lead over MVHS.
Medomak continued to battle as Grace Havener dribbled the ball down, took a very long out wide shot. The ball sailed long and high over the goalie and into the far side of the corner of the net giving MVHS a score of 1 to 3.
