Medomak 7th girls basketball defeats Camden-Rockport

WALDOBORO — The Medomak and Camden-Rockport seventh grade girls basketball teams met on the court Friday, Jan. 10 in Waldoboro for a Busline League game. 

Medomak maintained quarterly advantages of 9-2, 19-4 and 33-8 en route to a 35-15 victory. 

Scoring for Medomak were Sadie Knight (two points, two rebounds), Kaleigh Thompson (two points, two rebounds), Emily Richards (two points, one rebound), Lilly Christ (eight points, four rebounds), Kytana Williamson (seven points, three rebounds, six assists, four steals, one block), Emma Haney (two points, two assists), Audrey Jackson (six points, six rebounds, one block, one assist one steal), Skylar Hills (six points, two rebounds, two steals), Paige Jarvis (two rebounds, one assist, one block, one steal) and Paige Mosher (one steal, one rebound, one assist). 
 
Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Britta Denny (nine points), Charlotte Thackery (two), Lea Zwecker (two) and River Bell (two). 
 

The next game for Medomak will be Monday, Jan. 13 on the road against Great Salt Bay in a regular season finale showdown. 

The next game for Camden-Rockport will be Thursday, Jan. 16 at home against Troy Howard in a regular season finale match.
