Medomak 7th baseball earns consecutive mercy rule victories

The Medomak Middle School seventh grade baseball team went 2-0 in its recent contests both won by way of five-inning mercy rules. 

The Riverhawks hit the road Wednesday, May 3 to challenge Wiscasset before hosting Camden-Rockport on Saturday, May 7.

Pitching for the visiting Riverhawks were Nolan Wellman and Zac Curtis.

Hitting for the visitors were Wellman (four singles, four runs scored), Wyatt Hood (two singles, three runs), Lanny Morrison (four singles, five runs), Liam Feeley (three singles, double, two runs), Keith Miller (two singles), Avery Kunesh-Lowe (two singles), Jacoby Miller (two singles), Liam Ruffner (single, two runs), Curtis (run), Nick Bowman (single, run), Gavin Ambridge (run) and Kollin Donlin (two singles, run).

Medomak 15, Camden-Rockport 3 (in 5 innings)

Starting pitcher Landon Morrison pitched five innings for Medomak, allowing only two runs. Wyatt Hood closed the game for the host Riverhawks, allowing one run in one inning on the mound. 

At the plate for Medomak were Nolan Wellman (three singles, four runs), Hood (single, three runs), Morrison (two singles, run); Liam Feeley (double, two singles, two runs), Keith Miller (single), Gavin Parlin (run), Jacoby Miller (single, run), Avery Kunesh-Lowe (single), Gavin Ambridge (run), Kollin Donlin (single, run) and Jacoby Severson (run).
