April 27 sports recap: Camden Hills boys tennis, Medomak 7th baseball earn wins

Athletic teams from the Midcoast were back in action Thursday, April 27. 

Below are recaps as provided to the Pilot sports department. 

7th Grade Baseball: Medomak 13, Boothbay 7

After finding themselves trailing 5-2 by the end of the first inning, the Medomak Riverhawks rallied to outscore Boothbay 11-2 in the remainder of the contest. 

Leading the way offensively for the Riverhawks were Carter Jackson (single, run), Colby Simmons (two singles, run), Jaydiin Ruiz (triple, run), Eli Korenkiewicz (single, run) and Riley Nelson (two runs). 

Cole Escancy recorded five strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work on the pitcher’s mound.
