LINCOLNVILLE — Due to Veterans Day observance, the Lincolnville Board of Selectmen will convene Tuesday evening, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m., for a regularly scheduled meeting. On the agenda are discussions about not raising harbor fees, municipal plowing season, and expanding broadband throughout town.

The meeting takes place at Lincolnville Town Office and is televised on public access cable television. The town also streams its meetings here: youtube.com/channel/UC1QHI-zQvIIkptXJsupfTZg/featured

Harbor Committee members will be at the meeting, and will present recommendations for upcoming maintenance and harbor fees.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, representatives of Lincolnville Communications will talk about providing broadband in unserved or underserved areas of the state.

“Lincolnville Communications will be bringing more information with them to explain the opportunity and to explain what is needed from the community,” wrote Town Administrator David Kinney, in his pre-meeting memo to the selectmen. “ It is exciting to think about the opportunity to have the entire service territory of Lincolnville Communications within the Town of Lincolnville have broadband service available.”
