Annual Tip-A-Cop for Special Olympics Maine slated for Thomaston Applebee's’

THOMASTON — On Wednesday, May 22, from 5 to 7 p.m., the annual Tip-A-Cop to support Special Olympics Maine will be held at Applebee’s in Thomaston.
Local first responders will be assisting the wait staff to raise money for Special Olympics Maine.
Each year over 97,000 law enforcement officers around the globe participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run as “Guardians of the Flame” for Special Olympics.
“Please come support this fun event,” said Troy Peasley, in a news release.
McGruff the Crime Dog will be there as well.
